We sometimes idealize P4P and think it's all about happiness. In fact, and unfortunately, P4P generates much more unhappiness than one would expect. Both by the clients (upset about having to pay to get laid, or how much they have to pay, or the necessity of screening, or the rare scam artists) and the ladies (upset about business being slow, or not having a better option than something she's not completely comfortable with, or not being able to charge what she thinks she's worth, or the rare abusive clients). Some people are unhappy much of the time; almost everyone is unhappy at least some of the time. Largely a result of personality.
P4P isn't really unique. The people here are much like most people running businesses and most customers of such businesses. The main difference is having and participating in a public forum where we talk about P4P. And the more you talk, and particularly with a large enough group of people where at any one time several people are unhappy, the negativity bleeds into public view rather often.
Possible solution: less posting on, or even reading, P4P boards; more fucking + keeping your disappointments to yourself. (Keep a private journal and write about things that bother you there?)
People have forgotten how to disagree without being disagreeable.
