Will money become scarce in H-Town?

Guys relax. Some thing will happen. This will not bring Houston to it's knees Originally Posted by General Feuerbacher

Most upstream companies have decent hedges in place so they won't run out of cash for a year or two. If prices haven't recovered by then, those who haven't adjusted to the new reality will fall by the wayside creating a lot more jobless fucktards and newbie hooktards. I don't expect to see any real changes in the hobby till then.
......

cocksuckers think because some of us make a lot of money, they can tax us to death to pay for all the milkers' lives.

Strip clubs never recovered from the recession here and the days of rack a day for nothing of fun things for five racks are over and have been for a while. Strippers are back like the prices in the 90s.

Backpage girls are already dropping prices and several providers here are running specials again. Trust me ever the so called HDH types will drop their prices too and it will be a free for all sooner than everyone thinks.

It will not have the same impact on the economy in Houston, ... like it did in the early 80's
because Houston diversified the economy and recovered before the oil industry recovered.

In the industrial sector it is always feast and famine. Unless you work maintenance or shut downs..... you better be prepared to travel.
Which was a lot of fun..... making a lot of money and getting all of the local women and pissing off the local broke boys.

I think the strip clubs will see a pretty big dip when that annual OTC (Offshore Tech convention) happens this May. I assume the local hobby providers will be similarly effected.
But on the whole, I don't think the over all dip is going to be that severe. Hopefully it will be an opportunity for the local economy to self correct by diversifying, so this one industry isn't solely responsible for the financial future of the region.

OTC has fallen off for the last 4 years. Expense accounts are getting lean unless you can land a big contract.

Don't see how the oil business will change houston. Not everyone works in the oil buisness. There's an infinite ways in making money. This just proves how useless people in the oil buisness are. Once their cash cow is gone they're lost. Just pathetic people
If you look through history. The oil industry has always been up and down like a roller coaster. Thats why you save in the boom times. . I am not as affected as I once was because I am now in a manufacturing business not related to the oil industry. I hope pussy prices do moderate a little since I rarely feel I am getting the bang for my buck that I ought to.
