Not enough corporate sponsorship in SA nor enough high dollar folks to buy season tickets plus the Alamo Dome would be one of the smaller stadiums.

Baseball would have the same issues. Remember Spurs lost money the first time they won a world championship and are the smallest tv market in the US.

If they build any NFL stadium it really needs to be at or near Retama park, not downtown. At that location you bring in a larger population with San Marcos, New Braunfels and southern Austin along with SA.

Probably a better location than San Antonio, them boyz from Htown would even come only 3 hours of less from Katy...AND more big bucks in Austin
