Went to a Jack in the Box around 3:40 in Irving. Asked for a large Dr. Pepper and an order of large fries. I get my order and look in the bag before I drive off .. My fries are there and I see 4 free tacos with a ass load of ketchup and "hot" suace packets .. Weird.

I must have received someone else free tacos. Hooray.

.. too bad I didn't want them.

I love their eggrolls too. I will have to try them with the ranch though. Originally Posted by Tara Evans

head over to Fuel City (24/7 i think) and get a sack full of the best tacos you've ever had in your life. or any of the other great taquerias in our fair city serving great tacos. support your local taquerias...locally and family owned... and the profits go to local people and families and not some muliti-national conglomerate serving up crap to the masses while their profits go to some greedy investors.

VIVA LA TAQUERIA!!!

Alright. So Jack in the Box isn't wonderful food fare but who hasn't just enjoyed it completely? I still like those greasy tacos and I just tried the new pastrami sandwich that was featured last month. It's really good!

I've always thought that the sourdough breakfast sandwich was really good.

It's such a guilty pleasure!

I really like some "Box", and enjoy slurping up some "Taco". I would be more than happy to help Tara with any issues she may have in this department...

But I am not a fan of Jack in the Box, Taco Hell, etc... There are so many really good authentic taquerias around that serve great food at prices at or below the big chains.

Why not frequent somewhere like this: http://lapalomausa.com/

Don't forget their eggnog shakes.
I just want to make the distinction that Jack in the Box "tacos" are not real tacos. I do not know what's in them and I do not care to know. I love real Mexican food with a passion. As far as I'm concerned, they're a different food group altogether. All I know is, when I'm in the mood for a Jack in the Crack TACO!...they are the shiznit!
