I don't need someone to assist me. But I do very much want someone to assist me. It's just very convenient and reassuring to know that even when I'm busy doing other things (appointments, self-maintenance, shopping, etc.) that things are getting handled in a timely manner. My business moves forward regardless of where I am or what I'm doing. And I know it is done thoroughly and correctly to my preferences. And there's always someone that knows where I am and with whom. Totally worth the cost to free up hours of my time every day, and know that someone is looking out for me.

Hi everyone. I just wanted to let you all know that my business has reached the end of a golden era. My assistant will be leaving me for a too-good-to-pass-up opportunity (yay for her!) within the next two weeks. Lisa has been with me for 2 1/2 years, and she has done a wonderful job. I will miss her dearly, but I'm so happy for her.

To avoid any confusion you could always just find another assistant whose name just happens to be Lisa. I am aware that would limit your options tremendously, so I wish you the best of luck in your search for a new helper and friend. The new assistant accepted my calls, and even sent taint photos. Life is good.
