NO SHOWS (stamps of disapproval)

I believe it is all about communication. A simple phone call, text or email is all that is required. Not even an excuse really, things come up. I know sometimes I get called into work for a last minute emergency or surgery. It happens, but I have always called and explained BEFORE the scheduled date NOT after!

As said earlier, the Golden Rule. That is what I try to live by. I treat everyone as I want to be treated. But unfortunately, I do not always get that in return. I do not know if it is the type job that we ladies do that make men respect us less, but it happens all the time. I used to get a few NCNS's at first, but I have been lucky enough to have a set group of regulars between BR and Laff that it doesn't happen much anymore.

As Natalie said, it depends on the reason and the time of day of the cancellation as to whether I will let them book again. I have done it for some men and it all worked out fine, other times I got burned twice. We learn as we go.
Would like to add..... I have, in the past 10 years had my share of no shows as well as having been the one who was the no show. Since I work out of my location. (My HOME) I am very particular about how any session begins. I do NOT retain numbers for varied reasons, so if something comes up with me, on my end.... I ALWAYS leave a note.

On the flip side, having been around for some time, I can say with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY that more fellas have not shown than can be credited to my record. And quite frequently, these are appointments that were scheduled with 1-2 hours before the set time.

It amazes me. ....this double standard. If I have not kept a scheduled time... contact me. THERE IS A REASON. Rest assured I will NEVER contact u by phone. In the meantime, perhaps us girls can get a back channel going with a comprehensive list of "flaky" boys.
Well said Red
Several years ago there was a sweet little Korean provider named Cindy that came to town and I visited with her twice. She complained to me that she got a lot of ncns and as a result, she would not be returning here.
I don't know why there are hobby guys that have this behavior. Maybe immaturity, maybe just because their ass holes. Whatever the case, they need to grow up and take responsibility. If you schedule an appointment you need to make it. It pisses me off no end when a provider dissappears and doesn't show up. I can understand when the tables are turned.

So I gathered the info, got a break and was going to post the "beware of this consistent nc/ns" in the provider info share section...but I can't find the section! BTW what are the "rules" for posting this info?
I'm still trying to figure out this site so, would someone mind offereing some help....
THANKS!

The rules are very simple, just be respectful of others and as far as subject matter each forum has a small colloquy of what each forum is for, such as: CO-ed discussion is for hobby related items and all people can see it, male, female, registerd, PA, VP, etc. etc.

The Infoshare is toward the bottom of your list of forums once you enter the New Orleans area.

Any further questions just let me know and I am happy to help, Oh yes another rule when I set an appt. be respectful and please do not ncns, I keep my committments and I always call when things need to be rescheduled. Not really a rule but what the hell..

I know how you ladies feel. I have a lady friend that I've been lucky enough to enjoy her companionship on more than one occasion, that has had a guy cancel on her twice forcing her to cancel her visit to BR. She's not local to BR and travels in only for repeat friends for overnight visits. I can't do the overnight here in BR, so I just catch her for an hour or two when she visits. But this the second time this guy cancels on her, screwing my plans up to visit with my ATF.

Probably a good thing she isn't coming over, my muscles are still sore from the Rain yesterday!
I haven't worked in Louisiana (yet) but I do travel all over. I have found that there are just some cities where NCNS are more notorious than in others.

I have a simple rule when it comes to NCNS - No call, no show, no 2nd chance. If a gent notifies me within 24 hours and lets me know what happened (emergency or whatever) than I will reschedule. If I never hear from them, I report it in the ladies section for that city as a NCNS.

We should have a list for "no show" providers.
