Is "The Domain" too specific a location for a review?

"The Domain" proper is the area between Braker, Burnet, Mopac, and the railroad track, minus a bit on the North. Roughly 1 mile by 1/2 mile. There are actual trademarks and the owners of the businesses and trademarks involved.

If you imply it's in the actual Domain, the businesses involved may feel a little more inclined to harass us nasty whores and whoremongers. Simon Properties is sometimes somewhat schizo. The local nutjobs and busybodies might see it as something they need to stop.

I presume the hotels know it goes on, but appreciate the money as long as there is no trouble and they can act like they don't know.

I say to just keep it safe and say something like "near the Domain," "Domain Area," or Mopac/Braker area. MoPac/Braker gets the Domain, the Arboretum, the braker/mopac/183 triangle, a number of nearby apartments, etc. That tells the guy as much as he needs to know.

I think only the Westin is actually in the Domain. The La Quinta and Fairfield are not in the Domain proper.

If the lady has concerns, I'd definitely recommend changing it from "The Domain" to a more generic term. Originally Posted by GneissGuy

Then the "one" person with issues is taken care of and then where does that put all the hobbyists in regard to location. I know it only takes ONE PERSON to bring along change at times but this just seem ridiculous.

I think it takes a bit of judgement. If you say I-35 and 2222, there a dozen possible places. If you say Wells Branch and I-35, that's the Holiday inn. When I was a mod, I'd ask myself if I could figure out one or two places she might be at. Far too often, I could tell what hotel the lady was in.

Aloft Austin and Lonestar Court are both IN the Domain. I've seen a lady at Lonestar Court as well as one of the Condos..... I've had an Outcall to the Westin that started with drinks in the lobby bar.........

Never a hint of an issue. Originally Posted by Whispers

Re: Paranoia

I used to be a mod on ASPD. I helped out the ladies and guys when their spouses or stalkers found them out. You didn't hear all the details, but it was ugly and we lost a lot of good people that way.

The easy answer was to not get upset over the issue of location, just be sure the description was sufficiently vague to not be of much use to the bad guys.

The good guys don't really need to know much accuracy where the lady is at. They need to know if it's going to be a 10 minute drive or a 30 minute drive.

Just keep it too vague to guess where she is, but precise enough to plan your travel and schedule.

Remember guys, too much of the wrong information costs us good pussy. We lost a number of really good providers because someone put bits and pieces of information together and found them.

Just tell her you will meet her at the Domain tomorrow at noon with $1000 cash as a gift.

If she can find you it's hers if not then she has to pay you.

Maybe that'll bring her back to earth. Originally Posted by Windinhishair

I get lost at The Domain all the time, so simply saying "The Domain" isn't specific at all, there are hundreds of living spaces in several buildings. That's actually probably more ambiguous than a lot of ladies just giving intersections.

I read the domain and think northwest. not one of the two or 3 hotels in the domain proper.

  1. Simplest and most important answer. It's easy enough to say something like "Domain area" and reduce the risk. Why not do that? It doesn't reduce the value of the review.
  2. Some hotels have been known to become hobby unfriendly if it becomes obvious that they're being used for the hobby. Sometimes it's at the behest of some employee or manager, sometimes it's prompted by a busybody. Sometimes it's the local gomerment. Making the particular hotel obvious makes it harder for us all.
  3. I've seen the lengths to which the stalkers go. In more than one case, the stalker knew what car the lady drove and cruised parking lots until he found her car.
  4. Quite a few of the ladies use the same hotel fairly often. It's convenient. Some of them know which hotels are hobby friendly and safe. Even if you think it's dumb for a lady to use the same place, let's not add to the danger. There are certain hotels that it's better to hobby in simply due to things like layout, location, parking, etc. Let's not screw that up.
  5. Some of them are fucking dumb. We have had quite a few of them list the actual hotel. Some even listed the room number. That hurts us all.
  6. It makes it easier for the hotel staff to tie a provider name to a particular lady in the hotel. Don't forget, the staff has real world names and such and is bored.
While it might not be much of a risk in some cases to give a fairly specific location, in some cases, it is risky. Why not just develop the habit of being a little less specific?

I'm not quite sure I understand the point about the two call system. Once you get to the point where you're involved with two calls, you're probably already scheduled for an appointment and are going to figure out where she is anyway, unless she flakes out.

One (1) person is complaining about her review location?

She ever thunk to mention "If you review me, please don't say we were at Dominos"

Heck look at my reviews and figure that shit out lol

Is 238 acres of land too specific? That's just ridiculous.

That being said, there are only 400 apartments IN The Domain. At the same time, I've seen plenty of women say they are at The Domain, and they really mean some place 2 miles away on Burnet, or Duvall, or most likely, one of the hotels at Mopac and Capitol of Texas.

So unless the girl is putting up a stink about it, then no one has anyway of knowing that they are really in The Domain, or just close by.

It's not necessarily a big deal to me in this case, but I do think the "right" way is to be a little less specific. It's easy enough to be a little more vague and doesn't reduce the value of the review.

It's easier than people think to track people down.

I do know a case where a stalker tracked down a local provider because he knew she was a UT student and knew what her car looked like. There's something like 50,000 people attending or working at UT.

This guy would leave nasty notes on her car at UT and at home on a regular basis.

It's a shame, she was a sweet gal and a great, reliable provider.
