having a weird tech issue....halp!!

I have a background in tech ... but I could not easily resolve the issue. Googling is great when you have a computer that is working, but on my dumb smartphone, not so much. There are TONS and TONS of gents on this site that work in the tech sector. I'm pretty sure nobody forced you to read or reply.
