Thanksgiving Day Plans

Cheatercheater, that's fantastic. Kudos to you!

I can only imagine how much it must mean to those who give so much to serve our nation.

We have a big family reunion this Thanksgiving, but I would love to arrange something along those lines in years when that's not the case. I may plan to do so next year.

Everyone please have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

And remember, always politely decline if you're asked to participate in a blindfold turkey tenderness test:

Somehow I have ended up being invited to go over to SOMEONE ELSE's Inlaws. I have met them once or twice and they are crazzzyyyyyy. I asked my friend if I should bring the Red Solo cups to sneak the liquor in. Her answer, "They are such loons I started drinking in front of them years ago".

Any special plans for Thanksgiving?

Last year my family hosted soldiers who either had no family or the family was too far away. Most of the soldiers only had a 3 day pass. It was a great experience to share with these men and women.

This year every person who was with us last year is now on tour of duty overseas. We were really looking forward to a repeat but we are proud to have shared with those who selfishly serve our country.

I received a surprise email from one of the soldiers who was with us last year. He asked if we would entertain the idea of having a new group of men and women in our home for Thanksgiving. We jumped at the opportunity!

I salute you

We will have 4 men from Ft. Sill and 2 men and 2 women from Ft. Hood.
It truly is a day to give thanks!

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all! Originally Posted by cheatercheater
