I had the duck there. It was good. Strong drinks and a little pricey. I like as a treat for myself. Thx for the info

cheap beer (less than $4 a draft). But it's good! I had some sausage and pasta thing for $12. The duck is more.......Hope you have a good time.

It's beer and (some) win only, but C. Hunts on McNeil Rd. near Burnet. is a nice dive spot.

I love it. Anthony Bourdain says it serves one of the best Bloody Marys he ever had. Esquire magazine said one of the 20 best dive bars in the USA.

The Hideout Pub on Mopac, just south of Parmer. Cheap prices, good pours and great food. Outdoor patio for the smokers, too.

Thx guys, I definitely have places to visit while I'm up on the north side for a couple weeks.

Went to sherlock tonight. Great decor and loved the drinks. The food was another story. I dont recommend the Philly cheese steak.

Homer's and Canary Roost. Used to frequent both. Fire, we'll have to do the Canary Roost someday.

Mister Tramps has really good bar food and they have a nice patio and a room where they have events and weekly screenings of games and popular tv series's.
