Honestly, I never had a bad experience with a Backpage provider in the sense that I never got robbed. For Backpage, Google Image Search is your friend so you can check for fake pics. Also, if the ad appears to be done by someone immaturish, such as those ads that have CaPiTaL lEtTeRs FoLloWeD bY lOwEr CaSe letter, I would skip such a provider. Also, if the ad appears to be too good to be true, it probably is.
