Phones

If you have a smartphone just download the Google Voice app and you can create as many anonymous hobby numbers as you need for free. No need to buy a prepaid anymore. Originally Posted by Wombat94

Many providers(the smart ones) require an actual phone number (and yes we have ways to tell the difference) for screening.

What ever you do, don't buy the type that hookers do. Based upon the untold number of NCNS's, late appointments, and unanswered calls/texts, whore phones break/loose their charge/just refuse to work about every three minutes. I thought everyone bought iphones or androids, but whores must get a special on some kind of North Korean brand or something. Originally Posted by citizen44

FWIW, I have used a trac phone in the past and it worked great. Cheap and anonymous, at least to the extent that anything is these days until highly sophisticated, and expensive, techniques of snooping are brought to bear.

One thing to keep in mind if you want to keep as much anonymity as possible. Don't pay for the thrown down phone with your credit card. Don't give the place that you purchase the phone any of your personal info, this means no warranty. Don't linger and look up at those shiny orbes on the ceiling, they are getting a very good pic of you making your purchase if ya do! All of this cloak and dagger stuff will only getcha so far.

Anndddd, don't make a call to the service, EVER, from your "regular" phone, office phone or house phone, OR...a FAMILY members phone, if you are having trouble with the hobby phone...... There is a record if ya do and it aint hard for folks with know how to find the info if they set themselves to the task. This is about making it more difficult and expensive to trace things.

I shit you not.... one of the bretheren, whom I knew when he was still partaking of our little hobby not too many years ago, was standing in front talking on one of his teenagers I-phone to someone. I asked him what was up and he said he was taking to the folks at the service for the throw down phone that he was using for the Hobby....I just kinda looked at him wide eyed and said WTF areyadoin.......he got it quick, hung up, but it was too late at that point. Scared the holy hell outta the man it did. He quit the Hobby, or if he didn't, he has gone so far UTR that he doesn't speak of it anymore.

I keep them separate - T-mobile you can do all cash and buy a card to reload anywhere as needed. Put a password on it and if it is ever "found" claim you found it at work and were gonna ask who lost it tomorrow. Then throw it away and "find" a different one. Keep the SIM card so your number comes up with those you have passed screening. Originally Posted by tbone77494
