if i were to speculate, i would say that maybe he was waiting for you to offer a refund or a deeply discounted second go around. i might have done the same thing, given the awkwardness of asking for it as a client.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Not that I was standing in the room before I left waiting for an offer of a refund or a deeply discounted second go around, but there is no way I'm going to bring it up at the time of the session.....either during or at the end before I leave....just not my style. Not to mention, absolutely the awkwardness of asking for it as a client. There is nothing that could have changed the situation whether I brought it up at the time or not. It happened how it happened, I agreed to what I agreed to, I stood by my agreement and it just didn't work out. I wasn't going to pull the trump card at the end and say hey, this sucked, can I get a refund or whatever. I just happened to be the one that got "the one time deal" as Kelly stated in her original post.
