Summer Concert Series

Damn, I wish I could get my ass to more concerts. I saw Elton John at Cynthia Woods on May 1, place was packed, and I have to say it was an excellent show. I give him all the credit he deserves, the guy can sing, and play the hell out of the piano.

The surprise appearance he made at that fan with downs syndromes birthday party was so awesome. The look on that guys face was so priceless when he saw Kid Rock. Originally Posted by mam5

Great musician and he plays every instrument imaginable. I won $50 from my mom in a bet once... she insisted that the Isley Bros. wrote this song. No, it was the indestructible Todd Rundgren. One of my favorite artists.

I was in Jackson,Tennessee a couple years back and they have a minor league baseball team so I went and checked out a game one Sunday. Can't remember who they were playing but I do remember Todd Rundgren's kid was playing for the other team. And what was funny was every time he came to bat they would play a different Todd Rundgren song. Wonder if the kid is still playing somewhere?

That must have been annoying for him; I'd want my own identity. Both of his sons, Rex and Randy, used to play. I don't think they're active anymore.

Assuming it doesn't get cancelled Halestorm/ the Pretty Reckless is playing tonight and would float your boat. I'm thinking of going depending on the rain.
