On the other hand, many (most?) of the ladies here on ECCIE also use BP to advertise, at least occasionally. So it isn't as if you'd never meet an upstanding, quality provider there.

Still, I've never used it. Seems like a bit of a crapshoot. Much easier to "meet" quality providers here (and P411, etc).

I have spent time in Watertown but that was decades ago. I am sure it is not the easiest place to find a good provider.

When I think of Watertown I can always think about what Harry Chapin said about it in his song. He nailed it.

Stay away from Backpage. There are gems on there but a far greater chance of trouble. I only used it once and that was a rip off. It is risky for the girls and risky for the guys.

Experiences like this was why I got interested in ASPD and its present manifestation, ECCIE. I am pretty careful about screening before I see anyone new. I still get fooled, and these recent bad experiences have one thing in common, no reliable reviews of the provider.

I'm glad there are still hobbyist that are bold enough to go where no man has gone, and I hope the burned will chronicle their adventures in ECCIE to 1) inform their fellow hobbyist of the bad actor, 2) force the bad actor out of business, and 3) get a T-Shirt.

There are a few hidden gems on BP....Guess i have been doing this long enough you have a 6th sence lol You can look at how the ad is worded and the kind of pictures that's in it.and just talking to them on the phone. Do they sound high or zoned out,Short tempered or put off with simple non sexual questions .Are they staying in a hotel or house in ''the bad side of town''.When I first started hobbying the thrill of the chase and unknown was appealing.

To the OP. Don't forget your the customer, she should have made you feel comfortable not sure what you did wrong to cause her to feel uncomfortable because I'm sure she would tell a different version on what happened. Keep your chin up, I think most of us in the hobby have had bad experience, just need to learn from it and move on. Too many other great providers out there that will take care of you. Just need to do your research and those mistakes won't happen.
