There is a resale store in Blue Springs (off I-70 @ Exit 20, Hwy. 7). They have a very nice selection of all kinds of furniture. I forget the name but you could probably use google map to find it.

Revival Home furnishings on Metcalf has a wide range of consignment furniture at good prices.

If you feel like a day trip and have a friend with a truck or van , Highway 13 North antiques outside of Warrensburg has some great vintage stuff as well as home made pies and jams :-)

Try estate sales. They are in full motion from Wednesday to Saturday. They start discounting the second day on till their done. Google kansas city estate sales.
