How much longer will Backpage be alive?

Would rather see an ECCIE member than a BP member, hands down. But sometimes Eccie's are not available or out of my donation range.

Because I am not there as often as I like and not entirely familiar with the West Texas hobby culture...I have a question for the gents that use BP:

I disagree. If it is a verified provider, then she has at least one review. Depending on the reviewer that can tell you a great deal and you are not going in blind. It is true that ymmv, but at least you are relatively sure you aren't walking into a sting or a robbery.

all i'm saying is backpage isn't the only place you'll find silliness in this game. our own fair amarillo has several vp that are a waste of time, and they'll gladly rob you of that resource.

And in Lubbock as well. No guarantee is correct.

How many times have you been stood up by a VP? Just because they have reviews does not guarantee they won't waist your time.

I think you should try to get to know the person. Me, I posted on BP many times. I'm a nice girl who cares about my clients & image. On eccie I don't get that many replies I have great reviews but tend to do better on bp. Well before things got crazy. I have great rates & better service compared to alot of providers I've came across. I'm always up to meet new ppl/clients. I believe I'm a jewel like no another but still underestimated.

that's exactly what I do. i don't differentiate between the two resources. i try to treat girls like human beings regardless of where i find them. the simple fact is that some of you are serious about this business and many of you are not. it has nothing to do with where you advertise, and…at least in this market… ruling out a girl just because she is on backpage is stupid.

Never mind.

It is not going anywhere. They are working on having a third party site to buy credits off of which will then be applied to your account. The only reason ads are currently free is because Bp did not want to use they're clientele base. Smart.

Enjoy the free ads while they are available cause soon you will be right back to paying. The ads will more then likely be higher due to the fact that they will be having to do a lot more work.

I don't discriminate against BP providers. For me and some other guys BP is the life blood to feed our hobby needs. I have had just as good and sometimes better experiences with BP provides than ECCIE VPs.
