If you have an Android phone look up how to encrypt it. If the piggies get a hold of it they won't be able to easily hook it up to a computer and download all your info right before they give it back to you.

Good point. The Google Nexus 6 is encrypted by default. Hell of a phone and a good value at $499. Galaxy S6 may be the most secure of all. I like the thought of fingerprint scanner + encryption.
