What a shitty basketball town this is. Went last night to the Big 12 opener. Bottom half, half filled and upper half 5% filled. New Coach and exciting basketball. Saying that Barnes I believe would of had more wins to this point than Smart. But it's how you finish the year in basketball. Headed to the Iowa state game tonight. Smart getting frustrated with this bunch. I get the vibe that Taylor is a locker room problem. He constantly locked horns with Barnes and Smart said some stuff lately that point to him. We better shoot better than the 15-20% we have been from 3 point line tonight. When you throw up bricks from there you don't get fouls. Originally Posted by derek303Without Ridley there is no true inside scoring threat on the team. Really nice win in Whacko last night. Tough environment yet the Horns stayed cool the entire second half and brought the W home.Ibeh has 19 Blocks in the last four games. He's definitely holding down the fort. Texas has 9 games left and 6 of them are against teams ranked in the Top 15 now. I read somewhere that Texas has the third toughest schedule in the country.
Hey....Shaka gets my Coach of the Year vote for taking a bench-spare like Prince Ibeh and turning him into a force teams now have to take seriously (especially when driving the paint). Not sure how long it'll take to get Ridley back to form when he's cleared to play again but you've got to like the way Ibeh's holding down the fort. Originally Posted by Chateau Becot
