Moody Blues fans

My favorite Moody Blues story? I went to see them at Reunion Arena back in the early 80's. Crowd of about 15,000. Some guy named Stevie Ray Vaughn opened for them. He played for an hour. He finished, and 80% of the audience left.
My impression is that you don't like the Moody Blues? Okay we get it!
Nope, I love the Moodies. In fact, I would say I'm probably as Moody savvy as anyone that's posted on this board. It was just a funny event. I thought everyone was there to see them in concert that night, not SRV. Go figure Texas audiences.
Thats weird everytime I have seen them it's wall to wall packed.

Wow, yes indeed you waited way to long.

I just LOVED, and still do, the Moody Blues. When I was in college at Austin ... it was fun to mess around with the college boys while listening to that music.

I still listen to them. "Tuesday Afternoon" is one of my favorites. Or "Forever Tuesday", if you remember the old name. I also enjoy the other "movements" of that song. The night, etc.

Great topic, Tara. Made me smile on an otherwise dreary day thus far!

Sincerely,
Elisabeth

Too bad so many left early. If they would have stayed they would have had twice as good of an evening.
