It is unfortunate that the ACLU primarily only takes up the agenda of the left via activist courts and seldom takes up the cause of the rest of us. It is if they are only willing to fight the battles of the left and tell you to spend your own money to fight for your rights. I do not recall a single ACLU case defending the rights of the 2nd amendment yet they can somehow make prayer in schools a thing of the past even though there is no prohibition in the constitution even in the wildest stretch of the imagination.. So the ACLU misinterprets the 2nd amendment, what else is new.
They also misinterpret the 1st amendment as well.

I do hope you understand that I actually believe that the ACLU could be a great organization if it would take on all cases of government overreach and not just pick and choose based on a left leaning agenda. I have yet to find a single thing in the Constitution that states we have the right to be protected from being offended.
