Glad your ok. I thought of you too. Just now able to check. Drove kind of close last night but they had everything shutdown...rowlett is horrible. Friend lives there and his house is ok but the damage around is horrible.

Sorry to hear about the tragedies.

My mom was near some of the rough spots. Thankfully they only lost power for a bit.

My sister was on the other side of Garland, with my brother and his family visiting. Whew!

My sweet friend needs help! When they can let people in or out, she needs a way to work. Her electric is due... Afraid when all the electric gets turned back on, hers will be off. If anyone can lend a hand some way... She DID NOT ASK me to post this!! We have just communicated a little on Facebook. She's about out of charge, so I thought I would post something for her.

I had to go into Dallas today from East Texas. The following exits were totally closed off: Dalrock Road, Bass Pro, GBT and Bobtown. On my way out headed east there were lots of cars on the shoulder looking abandoned. I later found out that that people in these cars were parking on the shoulder and walking to the apartments to find loved ones as the exits were blocked.

Hopefully all well be well soon.
