Providers and STD testing

There's are a few ladies that blow caution to the wind, literally....but it's not the majority. Originally Posted by Kendall4U

I think most reputable, good providers take care of their health. I mean our bodies are our tools of the trade, and it's hard to work sick! I see my internist every 3 months and get a complete physical and get tested for all the common issues. I get x-rays, blood and urine tests. The only thing I've caught in the last 3 years is strep throat, and yes, I informed the last 2 clients I was with in the few days before I was diagnosed! They never came down with it.
I get tested every 2-4 months. Im super health conscious and believe it important (especially as a woman) to get tested.

gonna just put this out there...

testing isn't the issue

the issue is, when/if something pops up, you choose not to continue or not get it fixed...

there is where danger comes in... but if you are not clean and you have the right kind of luck, it's easy to be safe at end of day. People will always bash BBFS, because it's what they believe...

fact is, most people are married and choose few partners and don't want to take something home. Especially in higher end clients.

My guess is that they do not get tested regularly.
I would say that despite the EXCEPTIONS....most women who are willing to fuck a complete
stranger and perform any of the acts uncovered..dont really give a fuck about themselves or their health.

Why would you bother spending money to find out you have an STD when youve got "a hunger" to feed?
Few of our companions are doing the work just for the love of dick.

YOUR question comes from a place of logic, reasoning and reality..This is not a place some of our companions have the luxury of. Originally Posted by UB9IB6

I for one care greatly about my health and get tested every three to four months. I work a RW job and am here for the dick as well as the money.

The hobby comes with risks which I think are actually smaller than the risks incurred with picking up a random civvy sex partner.

I'll be motherfuqed if I get lumped into some category that exists in some fucktard's view of what MOST hookers must be like. Every lady on this thread is a shining example that we are not in the minority when it comes to taking care of our health!

OP this is a great thread, the guys can use it like a list of ladies that test and the ladies can use it to screen for men we'd rather not visit with but in all seriousness, I hope that everyone both provider and hobbyist takes the time out of their busy schedule to take care of all aspects of their health. Dental health, sexual health, heart health...it all adds up.

Here is a recent thread with helpful testing resource: http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?...654&highlight=

Whether you are an exception to the rule or not is none of my concern.
Your reaction leads me to think you felt slighted.. It was a blanket statement
and was not directed at any SINGULAR individual. If you are indeed an "exception" to the rule,
why would you be offended????

If you do get tested regularly, then you are doing yourself and the community a solid.
You and I. ..along with most cogent people realize that there is a real and
direct correlation between "a hunger" and a good number of both providers and clients alike.
whatever the "hunger" is could be subjective and unique to the individual, of course.. but let's be real.. it is usually a hunger involving subjects that we cannot discuss here.
Again.. not my concern....and if you are an "exception", why be offended at what I perceive to be the truth.

To say people like ME are what's wrong with the hobby..
I've never robbed anyone, never NCNS, never shorted a donation,
Never been impolite to a lady and I always try to be a considerate partner.
How does that make me BAD for the hobby???

Maybe you don't like the lens through which I view life, but thats really your problem.

Don't pornstars get cards they take to the set verifying they were tested and clean. How do we get those? Regular doctors don't hand those out.

Testing is only half the equation. Alerting people that you've seen that you have something (hopefully something that penicillin can cure) is the other part.

And let's not forget, you can get tested and come up negative because the STD was still in the incubation period. So now you go 3 months until your next test spreading all kinds of love in the mean time.

Glad we're all getting tested though. =)
