Looking for a bite to eat!

While I love Joe's and Jack's Stack... I have to put out there for anyone near the legends you should give Roscoe's in Edwardsville on K32 a try. Just souht of the race traick/legends. He was a competition guy as most of them are, his spot is in an old gas station (I know, aren't they all) but seriously it's up there with Joe's for ribs and pulled pork. Great family that run it with Roscoe as well. No he's not a personal friend, I just used to work up near there and found it a few summers back. Great BBQ as there are many in KC.

OK. Joe's is good. It's damned good. But the line, shitty parking and the fact that my friends think they're going on a food adventures because it's in a gas station make me not like it so much. The ribs at Joes beat most places, but the crown prime ribs at Jack Stack are in a class all their own.

You think there's a concurrent thread in the Carolinas somewhere right now with asshats arguing whether Cletus's nasty vinegar sauce is better than "Other Brother Darryl's" coleslaw?
