I don't mind springing for dinner when they are spending that much money to begin with. If I go for free after bcd, they pay and I want Lobster!!

Yes I agree we get paid for our time no matter what it is that we are doing. But I do offer discounts on weekend getaways

Now whether or not you want to delineate the different rates, or just describe packages that make it apparent that public time is a lesser rate than private time is a decision that must be made.

But, I kind of agree with RK's dissertation in that thread at http://eccie.net/showpost.php?p=941369&postcount=22.

I tried it once a few years back with a lady I knew well, and it wasn't the best of experiences. We had a 3 day, 3 night trip to a luxurious resort with all the bells and whistles.

It started out fine with lots of out of the bedroom time and several hours of bcd time. But on the second night we went to bed early and I fell asleep. When I awoke around midnight, she was gone. I found her in the hotel bar trolling for action with 3 guys. This pretty much pissed me off and the rest of the trip was uncomfortable.

Plus, she snored, LOL

Will never attempt something like that again !

I politely disagree with some of the prior statements based on my own humble experiences over the last few years. Wow, I can hardly believe that my 4th anniversary in this pleasurable pursuit is coming up at the end of May.

It boils down to how ladies market their services and whether gentlemen are really paying for
time or sex. I have always offered
rates/packages/whatever which included public and BCD companionship, and what happened, happened. Whatever form of intimacy the gentleman wished, whether physical or psychological, was his choice, and surprisingly I've done a lot of, well, "legal" escorting, but I've also had dinner dates where nothing traditionally edible was consumed and we were prone for the entire "meal."

If we ladies are truly living up to the term "escort," and assuming that we aren't ADVERTISING as non-FS, then why must we break it down to JUST provider or companion? Why should we have different rates for different levels of service? Why can't it be all inclusive? My time escorting a gentleman to a social event, taking extra care to get hussied, er, gussied up in a Fancy outfit appropriate for the circumstances, being suitably intelligent at chit chat and making a good impression on behalf of the gentleman, isn't worth as much as lying naked on a bed with my mouth otherwise occupied? The second option is actually far easier.

I don't quite understand the disparity.

Oh, not to say that I haven't spent time "off the clock" with gentleman after an exhausting and satisfying encounter that left us ravenous for a restaurant and protein replenishment. I've frequently accompanied fellows on vacations where my expenses were paid, and while perhaps I wasn't compensated as much on top of that as I might have made at home, I had fun, saw someplace new and shared that adventure with someone, and paid my bills with a wee bit leftover.

Nothing in this industry is stark black or white, and flexibility into the gray areas has to be important. As long as the two individuals talk and agree on what transpires and have realistic expectations, it's all good.
I just had a guy who canceled his session and then ask just to meet in public for a free drink. He was pissed when I said it will be $150 to meet me.

A little background. In my first meetings, I always offer to meet in public prior to private time just to make sure it is a good match. I do not include this in the paid time.

Also, I only schedule one a day when at home, so this really hurt me as I turned other people down.

Meeting gentlemen for "get acquainted" coffee, drinks, and lunch with no expectation of money is good public relations, and if I have no other commitments that day, I'm happy to do it as long as there's a reasonable possibility that it might work
into an enjoyable and profitable afternoon or eve for me. If it doesn't, well, I reason that we probably had poor chemistry and wouldn't have been good together in the boudoir anyway, but sometimes I just get plain taken advantage of in a not-so-pleasurable way.

Most notably, I met a fellow before Christmas for lunch at a very exclusive restaurant, and I agreed in advance that it would be JUST a meal, but if we clicked we were going to continue the afternoon and visit a museum, then retire to his townhouse for a private eve. Well, after lunch, museum, wine and cheese tasting and conversation at his place (he was fascinated by the fact that I actually made a living doing this), a lovely foot message given my Irish tootsies by him, he announced that it was a great day getting to know me and he would contact me soon. Um......what? He thought that because there was no BCD play he didn't have to compensate me anything. We obviously mis-communicated, but since he had no prior experience with hobby etiquette, I was polite about it and left. It upset me as I'd turned down another gentleman that day who would have paid me, and like everybody else, I had Christmas to buy. He's never called again. Now, was that fair, expecting any specialist in any field to just give a day of work away?

This is one reason why I advocate a flat rate and no distinction between BCD and public time.
