ah ok so better not to post anymore in that thread, sorry, did not see that thread. However, i think as long as questions are not sufficiently answered its good to still keep it open? I mean i have been reading thru this looooooooooooooooong thread and still did not find an answer :-).... so many words..... all for ,...... :-) lalalalalaa

You misunderstand. There is no prohibition on posting to that thread. Quite the opposite! The vote was to keep it open til the last poster had posted.

This thread was never closed either although the poll is closed.

Well guys, as you can see, the vote was close but per the will of the people, this being a democracy and all, the thread stays open til the last poster changes the last subject.

BTW - AltComedy, there is much merit in what you say but to implement something like that would take a directive from on high simply because it differs so much from standard practice. I can hear the screaming now the first time I close a thread with 50 posts right in front of someone who just had to have the last word. Originally Posted by John Bull
