Here is a thought:

Might be fun to put on a leisure suit, with a paisley tie, have Lauren dressed as a harjuku girl ( http://eccie.net/showpost.php?p=932946&postcount=11 ) and going out on the town.

Took me a while to wise up!

Nostalgia. I lived in Detroit in ’68: after the riots. Buildings were blackened and ruined by fire. Neighborhood “vendors” would pop open their car trunks and display “their merchandise.” Sorry, but I wasn’t impressed with the capitalist spirit of the new left.

Dude! Its hockey. They are probably Canadian (or spend a lot of time there). What would they know about fashion?

Even though I was so young I was just learning to cursive write during the aforementioned era, I knew the fashion was awful! The only thing I was even happier that faded into the sunset was jeans and trouser rises that were along the same plane as my bra line. Oh, God they were horrible. Bellbottoms were ugly, polyester was just plain ole gross, but high-rise jeans just make butts look HUGE.
