Is this really a hobby? I would love to hear some thoughts about what this is to the gentlemen. I will bet it is something unique and special to each individual. A hobby per se? I don't know.

Only if that is your def of a hobby as well..for men..yes this may be a hobby until...... they find a lady they really connect with..then it turns to a ..what...something you do alot..or every once in awhile or what once a year...

so tell me sir..what is actually the def of a hobby..is there a time period that should laps between the hobby activity or is there not?

A hobby, yes if you use the definition of partaking in an activity for enjoyment done voluntarily. But maybe not if you are searching for mutual interaction with someone who you truly enjoy being with and she with you! Maybe then fullfilling a human need.

Good discussion guys. Thanks for the input. I always get a laugh when I hear someone say something like, this is a hobby, it is supposed to be fun. I understand the spirit behind such statements, but who the hell are they to tell me if I consider this a hobby or even how to define my hobby.
its an addiction i have no control over

As a waitress I believe I never asked any of my customers if they had an eating disorder or addiction but loved to hear of all the different types of cuisines and alternative choices and opinions of what was out there. . . and of course what they enjoyed on my menu

As a bartender I believe I never asked anyone if they were allergic or an alcoholic, but loved to hear about bars who had a large variety of beer/wine or breweries/wineries to check out when I am in the area . . .

So as a provider I know there are a variety of "types" that fall within this world and I desire to explore and embrace every type and variety that interests me as I believe you gentleman do when looking around for a provider to experience. . . .am I addicted, infatuated, obsessed . . . and to what aspect? Maybe/maybe not . . .and who knows?
