Both MC and HPV are generally harmless. HPV is so common that according to the CDC, "nearly all sexually active men and women get it at some point in their lives." (

In fact, MC can be transmitted through linens, towels, and even swimming pools. If you are freaking out about contacting MC or HPV from a stripper slide, you should probably wear a hazmat suit on a date.
