Actually saw Prince perform during his Purple Rain tour. Did not care much for his music at that time but I give credit where it is due. He sure knows how to put on a show.

And the bonus...

Sheila E opened for him.

According to various news reports, Prince had recently been battling flu and was briefly hospitalized while on tour.

He was 57 years old.
