Ladies, why post on SNATCH if your NOT SN available?

The SNATCH is not an advertising thread. Its only purpose is to inform the membership that you're available. If you get booked within the hour, edit your post (just click the EDIT button under your post). If you get booked after, then contact your local moderators so that the post can be updated.

Thank you for that information Simon. I'm sure that is very helpful to some of the ladies using the SNATCH thread.

For educating us as to what the SNATCH thread looks like from your perspective! It's that sort of honest, no axes to grind type of information exchange that makes things go soooo much smoother for both providers and hobbyists!

I personally have had 0% hits with SNATCH, so I've gone back to using P411.

Another thing I would recommend if you know you are likely to use the SNATCH thread in the future:

Contact the ladies who post on it and who you may be interested and get screened ahead of time. Next time you see her post, contact her right away and skip screening, putting you right in from of the line.

Technically... Mokoa created the first snatch thread... But providers were getting creative and were openly advertising. The thread rules have been loosened a little after I stepped away for a year or so.

Here's my imaginary timeline:

9am girl posts in SNATCH

At 9:04, 9:08, 9:10, 9:15 requests come in. Each person requires responses, reference checks, etc..even if the client says they have already met, this must be verified by the lady. Factor in other questions like, is XXX ok or on the menu, or whats the donation again, or the dreaded "I don't have gps." Yeah, it happens and it's a pain in the ass. Oh and you can't forget the timewasters...they are always a factor.

By 9:30 first appt is booked! yay. It begins at 1030 bc the client needs to leave the office, hit the atm and drive over.

This just "bumped" everyone else to a later time...obviously.

10:25 arrives and I silence the phone. I was able to book another appt for 12:15.

I spend my hour entertaining.

11:35, IF things are on time, I am showering, changing linens, and looking at messages.

Ok, so I eat a quick bite and relax for 15 mins and its time to crank the ac, spray the air fresher, brush my teeth or whatever and it's go time!

Again the phone is silenced and lets assume this one at 12:15 is a 90 minute...

Do you see the pattern? A girl working alone can't be short notice to everyone at all times.

I was ready at 9am and was able to accommodate two clients and finish up by 2:00.

3:00pm I'm on my way home now bc I have other obligations. Day is done.

This is why you guys are blessed to have so many lovely ladies to choose from. We are each but an individual, but as a group, we always provide.

When the post is made, dozens of requests come in within the first hour....I prefer the first come first served approach myself unless there is a reason for a priority booking offer such as a frequent regular etc. But as they say....you snooze you lose!
