GFE Monkey Stole My Info

I like bitches of back page it's easy to see all the bitches from back page . And if you're on backpage you should expect this to happen. Originally Posted by Trey

My ads have been "borrowed" and placed in many venues, including Monkey, which also "borrows" reviews from member sites like ECCIE, so this isn't just a BP issue. It's a never-ending war that's very time-consuming to fight, so I choose my battles.

After repeated correspondence escalating to threats of legal action (and an email from my attorney), I was able to get my data removed from sites implying morality enforcement involvement, like Escort Busts and Escort Stings. I pretty much let the rest ride as long as no outright incorrect info is listed and no ties are inferred to LE.

Some places, like the former Naughty Reviews which has now become Tempted, sold listings, I believe. Alas, this is a common online practice nearly impossible to prevent on the part of individual advertisers in ANY market.

that's funny. I'd think this would help with making people more aware but apparently you want exclusivity? lots of people getting banned here. rules getting stricter? that sux.
Did you post on EROS? That's where they took my ad from.

I screen everyone anyways, but choosing which sites to post on can help cut down in the number of time wasting or unwanted queries one receives.

these days anything posted online on the internet must be deemed stolen so just think twice before you post it

personally i fought with an online job site who stole my profile but i was lucky enough to get it removed , it doesn't happen that way most of the time
Gfe monkey and sexcompass stole my profile as well. I don't know from where. I laughed when I saw a 2 rating. I don't do ratings!!!! Never have. I do have furs, travel, jewelry, etc...that's not the point. I am going totally UTR and have anyway always been careful. Whatever that means in an online age. I was surprised that some sites had my pics publicly available, even though I had to log in to post. Date Check and TER removed those asap so I can reducing my footprint. Sexcompass and gfemonkey don't reply to my numerous requests; they want to show that they have lots of profiles. What good is an old profile. I don't look like that anymore, thanks to my plastic surgeon. They are scum. I now need to go the legal route. What a shame. In this industry, we should support each other. Anyone have suggestions that worked? A lawyer?
They stole my info months ago. I didn't complain because I got a wonderful regular who found me there, but I sent them a few emails threatening legal action in the last few weeks, but they won't do anything. I don't care that they put up profile for me, but I no longer post my phone number anywhere and after getting woken up at 3 am recently with a call and text from someone who said they found me on there I have asked them to at least remove my phone number. Threatened legal action and it's still there. It infuriates me, but they're not budging. Originally Posted by Emma Walsh

Seems like most if not all of the "scraping" sites have some business connections with Back Page. In fact, some have been outed as directly owned and operated by BP.

But, it's like my wise grandma would have said (had she know about the 'net back when):

If you don't want stuff out in public, don't put it out there in the first place.

That said, if you know it's gonna get stolen, make it worthy of the theft: quality photos, links to your "inside" information and data, cogent and quality words and descriptions.
