Does a face pic really matter?

I definitely understand the need for discretion, but I prefer to see a face and my guess is that most guys do as well. We all like to "see what we are getting" so to speak. Previous reviews definitely help in some part of the decisions making, but the photography is what's really going to make a difference. I'd say get a great photographer that is experienced in making provocative pics that don't include your face. It can take your "game" to a different level.
I would protect your kids privacy. It's not just them, it's their friends, their friends parents, their teachers and coaches. Anyone who has seen you in that world and might also come here will associate you with your kids. Why take that chance?

Some women are totally okay with it and I respect that. It sounds like your concerned about your family though so that should take priority over how many appointments you may or may not miss out on. Take Caroline's suggestions in her last paragraph if you decide to not show your face.

I'm very established and have stopped posting any pics of myself. Some people have said that's crazy but it's my choice. I wouldn't suggest it if this is your full time gig though. It's a big risk.

No, if you have a good reputation, good IOP, good reviews, and reasonable rates, you could easily get away to advertising without any pics at all.

I can understand why full face pictures are not shown. Really not much of a problem to me. However, it would be nice to see a date stamp on them. Many don't appear to be current. Sure would reduce the disappointment factor....ijs
I think face pictures are VERY important and I prefer not to see a lady without a face picture.
With that said I also understand a ladies need to hide her face due to real life issues.
I was able to reach a compromise with a few ladies that I was interested in seeing based on body pictures, age, reviews etc..
Once she had screened me through here or P411 and decided she would be interested in meeting she sent me face pictures through private email with the promise not to share them with anyone without permission.
I have never posted on BP. I haven't even looked in to how to post there. That is very not cool if someone is using my pics.

Was it my name?

River, I was cruising BP one day and saw your ad, and your face picture immediately got me searching for more information. If you just had a body shot, I would've just moved on. Since you've already posted your facial picture, to be honest, it's really too late to change your mind.

I'm mostly looking at the top of your head and then your tramp stamp. I mean it's great if your face is like a model but I respect the fact you need discretion.

Perhaps you posted here and I checked out your showcase, saw the picture of your face and probably said, "damn, she's pretty hot."
I've never shown my face once in 8 years and I have never had issues with this. I am happy with the amount of attention I get and Houston has always treated me well.

I've also very rarely been asked to send a face pic in private. I feel if you have a good reputation here (through co-ed posting, etc) as well as a steady stream of positive reviews, your service and rep will speak for themselves and gents will happily come to see you without seeing "the whole package" beforehand.

I have been around just a little less than a year and I have always showed my face. I believe my eyes, glasses, teeth, and freckles are some of my selling points. But I do have children near HS and JH age and I want to protect them. So I am considering removing or blurring my face going forward. I know what is out there is around forever. I just want to limit my identity exposure.

Would a blurred face change your decision to visit with me or any other provider?

Blurring the face or not blurring the face ... all could be solved if you posted taint photos.

No, too much work for me.

Honestly, I will not book a provider that is not as open and honest as she expects me to be. We all have something to hide here and trust is why people are here and not on Backpage IMHO
