Second vote for Gatlin's. Also heard great things about Killen's as well.
Gatlin's sausage is dryer than a dog turd that's been out in the lawn since the mower's last visit.

Killens BBQ in Pearland, it's worth the 30 minute drive from the Galleria.. more highly rated then the rest mentioned above me. Originally Posted by Powerdrive

if you're going to make the drive go to League City or Webster. even before those two cities there is a decent place around Hobby airport. ugh. forget the name now. Central Texas maybe? not as good as the places further down but decent. sure you can find plenty of good places without the drive though.

if you don't mind cooking yourself or just want to try some unique stuff try http://www.petesfinemeats.net/

they used to let you pick it and they'd cook it. but place got rebuilt because of fire so not sure if it's strictly menu for eating in or what now. got some great stuff either way.

edit: forgot about hobby place (hey, sort of a pun! haha)
The poor OP will get 15 different places that are the best.
It's always the same thing when someone ask for the "best".
There is no best because we are all so very different.
