The obvious question: Does it hurt?
The reason I ask is that I had a partial knee replacement seven years ago and post-surgery it was never above a 2. That's my only surgery experience aside from lasik.

Thought I would give everyone an update on my recovery. I went to the trauma surgeon today for a post op appointment. Basically it will be a long road ahead for me with additional surgeries. I took some pictures of my ankle. I am still going to be working during this process.
