Question for the ladies.....up or down?

Some people act like their on a real date and dress to impress. It does not impress the ladies at all. They don't care what you look like but they have to touch you so wouldn't you prefer to touch a clean person? So, be clean and wear whatever you want. This is not harmony, it is prostitution. You are merely the customer, not her love interest nor sexual interest, her interest is the cash.
I prefer a gent to wear what is comfortable for them. I try to be observant on what they wear and use that to tailor my conversation topics. If he shows up wearing camo it's a fair bet that reminiscing about going off-roading will be welcome. If he's wearing Star Trek then it's all about talking about our favorite corners of nerdom. Athletic gear? Commiserating about feeling crippled after leg day. Straight from the warehouse = logistics. A suit (not straight from work) either means he'll be comfortable leading the conversation or he's trying to please me.

I'm a t-shirt and jeans guy. Usually a rock or metal band. But sometimes I like a button down because it really turns me on when a lady slowly unbuttons my shirt from the top to the bottom of my jeans zipper.
Rock whatever your comfortable with... as long as you are well groomed and clean, and suitably attired for the occasion e.g. dinner at a certain restaurant or a show...if that be where you are heading... Then confidence is the best look you can have :-)

Though I am sucker for a suited and booted guy with nice classy aftershave ;-)

I must disagree!
I become very excited when I'm with a man in a nice suit, crisp pressed shirt and an amazing tie.
shoes catch my eye quickly.

a wife better under and nice tight boxers

It makes me the moment grand for me and draws the inner cougar out of me

A man dressed any other way, gives me the feeling of less concern of my efforts as his in preparing for the evening

Wear whatever makes you most comfortable. I'm most partial to this look, however:
