Sandra Bland's Familly Hits The Jackpot

I am not seeing under what legal theory Waller County is responsible for Sandra's death. Although they settled out of court, it is not demonstrated how Waller County are even partially responsible. Supposedly they will have an "automated system" so that a human is notified to check on prisoners hourly. Waller Country Jail also agrees to have a nurse on premises 24 hours a day.

My only "clue" about this is Waller County contains Prairie View A&M and the DA "can't pick a jury."

Meanwhile, the officer who arrested Bland is up against a perjury charge, won't be tried until Jan 2017, almost a year after the Grand Jury recommended "indictment." Originally Posted by gnadfly

To satisfy the mob, they had to do something. Much like that Mosby bitch did in Baltimore. Throw the animals some red meat, and worry about other consequences of those actions later.

Was it ever determined why Sandra Bland hung herself.? Was it because the realities of her lifestyle finally caught up with her, or the fact she learned that nobody in her Familly gave a shit about her predicament.

They all love her now. To the tune of 1.9 million.

America's great because of a $1.9 million payout?

I don't think so, not if the family didn't think she was worth $500 to spring from jail.

whatever happened to family values????
