Do discounts really matter?

I have a couple of scews loose

don't go by me
I have had "regular" rates given to me after the first date with a few women (20% discount) because they knew me and we had a good experience together. By me being a good customer, there is reliability factor involved and no need to screen, nor the worry of me being LE.

Personally I dont offer a discount more so Id offer extended time for the same amount.

Dont call it a discount/special just offer a P411 member rate. Something like "Exclusive rate for P411 members".

'Specials' and 'discounts' dont work as well as one would think for a 'luxury' service. Originally Posted by ElleW

Discounts matter. I have one for P411 members because like you said it makes sense. I run specials as well, sometimes once a month sometimes once a year because let's face it I don't have a 3 year waiting list like when I started and names and faces change around here a lot. It allots you the opportunity to meet a nice guy who may have otherwise not been able to afford your rates and might become a regular after he realizes why you're worth the higher rate

Prebook specials work really well, they insure more prebooks.

I offer pre-booking discount or extra time depending on how far ahead the book because i'm kind of a planner by nature. 2 days 50 off, 1wk+100 off or extra hh, 2wks+ 100 off plus extra hh. I guess my only actual "special" is the 2wk+ notice "deal" because I don't offer that anywhere else but here on ECCIE. That being said maybe half actually take it. And when they do they usually take the extra time. So do discounts matter....ehhh sometimes.
