Yay! Glad this is posted!

Even though my SO is Puerto Rican, he was born in Germany and wants me to find a German Restaurant.

Guess I will have to check this food out in FTW.......Thanks! Originally Posted by berkleigh

Always looking for good food to try (I'll try just about anything once). I've never heard of Bavarian Grill so I think I will have go and see what the fuss is all about.

Thanks for the info.

Henks European Deli & Black Forest Bakery on Blackwell (near Central and Park Lane), which is a spinoff of Kubys, is very very good.

Killer goulash, spaetzels, pork loin, smoked bratwurst, Sunday Brunch and an amazing dessert selection (their Black Forest Cake rules). Also, live Oompa Loompa drinking music on Friday nights (rrum pum pum, rrum pum pum)!

However, sounds like Plano is more accessible to most folks.

The Edelweiss is great, it has been in business for thirty of forty years. Good food
and great entertainment. Set up like a German Beer Garden. Located in West Fort Worth.

All attendees should commit to memory the following German drinking tunes.

Bavarian Grill is very good, and reasonably priced for the atmosphere. I consider it a bargain if you go when they have live music.

My stein is ready... When do we go! I'm in the mood for a good Doppelbock.

Perhaps our motto should be: "Alter Wein und Junge Weiber, sind die besten Zeit-Vertreiber."

Translated: "Old wine and young women, Are the best pastimes."

Forget about either Sunday or Monday....because of the holiday today I thought I'd pop over for ein Schnitzel mit Nudeln....it wasn't to be!

Alles abgeschlossen Sonntag und Montag.

Looks like they have live music every night except Sunday and Monday. How about Wednesday March 3rd or Thursday March 4th?
