Are there guys who want to be with submissive providers or is it the other way around?

I'm a switch but to some guys I come across as having a dominant/strong (but accommodating) personality so I mostly (but not entirely) attract guys who want a provider to take over.

My 2 cents. Personally I'm a switch, I enjoy both sides of the coin but I almost never play the Dom role with a provider, it just doesn't feel right. The part of being dominate I enjoy most is the real submission of the woman. If I hire someone to submit it just not the same.

On the other hand me paying a Femdom just makes the feeling of "loss of control" even greater.

OK. I'll admit it. I like and prefer to be dominant (there you go, James). I'm somewhat new to it, and still learning to be more verbal, but yes, to bondage, spanking, nipple play, toys, and doing what I want to do and telling her what to do. Taking control. As Submissive Angel said probably more sensual pain than harsh pain (e.g. a firm hand print that stings and shows, but not to the point of bruising).

Usually, though I don't even go there with a provider for a few reasons:
1) for fear that I'll be viewed as a freak and never get another appointment (well, I guess the cat's out of the bag on that one now)
2) How do you do a dom/sub session quickly? From my perspective, it takes time to find a sub. It takes time to build a rapport with a sub. A dom session should NEVER be a quickie. It takes time to get into the session, time to tie up or use toys or spank, or whatever, and it takes time to enjoy oral and intercourse. I would say at least 2 hours maybe more. That ads up fast unless you have an understanding. Just as an example, I have had a several FWBs that liked to play this way sometimes and it ALWAYS took over 2 hours sometimes 4 or more.
3) Just finding time to play like this is difficult.

I can do that on a public board like you can type in all caps with terrible spelling and grammar.

I think its worth saying that in a BDSM kind of environment its invariably safer for the female to maintain the dominant or controlling hand. Admittedly once trust and rapport is established these lines can be flipped or blurred but it is certainly in a girl's best interest to try to have some form of "control" with a total stranger when "rough stuff" is on the table.
