Phone calls - what is the purpose?

I think that a phone call is very important. It just gives more a perspective of what that person may be like. Emails can only say so much about a person.

you can tell a LOT about someone just from hearing there voice on the phone (not enough to accept that as screening, but just to know)

that's the only reason i would want to hear someone first...just for my own knowledge and to get a "feel" of who they are before i meet them

Before the grammar police get me...lol..I meant too say..'You can learn (not call) a lot from a phone call...

I have just started in the hobby, but I currently only offer email contact. I have seen most girls use a phone and I have had some guys request I call them or they call me.

Since you really can't say very much to someone over the phone, since I see most girls also put don't talk about Donations or any activities, just what do you talk about when a guy calls you or asks for you to call him?

I would think talking on the phone would just be one more way to maybe trip up if it was LE trying to get you. Also since you really can't keep someone from calling and wasting minutes, etc, doesn't this cause more issues than it helps?

Let me know as I am curious.

Email is fine but what's the need to say too much over the phone other than hello, a bit about yourself, screening info, day and time and duration of visit etc. If you have a site and assuming they've looked it over you're not wasting minutes and they already know what they want w/o saying.
