Smurfydoesdallas...so unreasonable

You should've just left it alone. Now that this has been posted, you may have placed yourself on a lot of DNS lists

IWell I didn't have my phone on me and when I got to it just before 930, our schedule time together was for 10, I saw that Smurf tried to contact me to confirm. I informed her of everything that happened. She said 'you could have simply text me, dont contact me again.' Originally Posted by add1ct3d

I can understand why she might be peeved.

Think about how you would feel if something similar happened to you. Let's say you have a long commute to get to the in call, and then after numerous texts to the lovely lady, you finally get a response to cancel while you are enrout or perhaps already there. Regardless of the reason, you would most likely be a wee bit miffed.
I damn near almost always have my phone on me...in my hand in fact. If you dont hear back it means I'm busy, asleep or in my real world life.

I dont have any kids but if i did nothing else in this world ...and I mean nothing.... would take priority over that.

The provider obviously didn't believe you, hence the dont contact me text. She also might have had a bad morning, had her time wasted by many before or hell maybe she was needing the donation to take her own kid to see the Dr.

OP:These threads never go over well...and calling a woman out of her name in public like this or period only makes her want to stay away even more.

Sexual frustration is a bitch apparently...lol

Am i the only provider on ECCIE that doesn't have any problems with time wasters? I feel very fortunate about that.

Anythewho
Hobby on folks

Just accept it, OP. You called her as soon as you could, and just need to realize that you forfeit any "right" to reschedule when you cancel so soon before an appointment.
Two of my last five attempts to set appointments with providers didn't happen because they had sick kids, one contacted me, the other didn't until I'd taken the blue pill and called to confirm.

^^^ that's because she cant plan her appts properly. Lol

I know I have had issues with family come up and have had to cancel an hour before an appt and I've had gents cancel because of family or work. Real life happens and there isn't much we can do about it. But imho, posting a thread because your butt hurt seems rather harsh.
why wouldn't she just want your money that's the whole point here right?to funny

Guys, I'm so over this lol. Thanks for all the comments and concerns but really I'm good. And I'm not concerned about this "hurting" my ability to hobby. My life is not dependent on this, just something I entertain to satisfy my appetite. I posted about it that morning because I was more surprised that she was mad that my real life took priority. Nothing more, nothing less. Those that have seen me know I'm awesome and sweet.

Maybe her real life depends on the hobby and she has kids too.

Maybe she lost money by turning down because she thought she had one with you.

Maybe she would rather not take the risk with you again.

You came on here and cried about it so if you don't like the answers, don't open the door.

The thread, though, has done you no good that I can see.
