You definitely should not apply corporal punishment if that is something that makes you uncomfortable. Communication is the key. And for me, I believe the sub has all the real power and control.

Trust is the key component here. I use the traffic light safe word program. As long as both parties are in agreement all is good. Limits respected and RED safe word honored.
It doesn't matter if I'm Done or more likely Sub. These are the rules of the playtime.

Why do people do anything? Because it feels good. It releases endorphins. You do not have to be labeled as a sub or Dom.
