I wouldn't rule them out. Saban may be tightly wound but he is still one hell of a coach. Although I was rooting for Clemson, I expected Alabama to win. This just shows how difficult it is to repeat, how much of a mental game it is and on any given day . . .

I'd like to see the playoff system expanded. If your school wasn't playing, did anyone care about the other bowl games? Well, maybe with the exception of the Rose Bowl because it was such a good game.
