Tiger Woods 2017

It is like I said, he took a lot of wrong turns but that does not mean he was destined to be where he is today.
Golf is about 10% muscle memory and the rest is mental.
Thinking you can do what you did when you were 20 in the same manner makes him look foolish on the golf course. Accepting that he cannot hit with the same length should be the first step.
The only Tin Cup is the upcoming one, not the one in decline.

I do admire his accomplishments. It is a shame he allowed himself to become so damaged.

'nuff said. It's time for a white guy.....

He is definitely rusty and his mental strenghth is rough. But he may recover. It will take time. PGA and the golf technology has taken the game to more competitive level. If Darren clark can win the British open late in his years, tiger has a chance if he can get his focus back. He does even if he is not be the same when i saw him at us open beating Rocco the next day..

I think it's going to be while for someone to come close.....to him at least.

Just an FYI drives alone cannot win a game. It's everything working in sync.

He will draw a crowd but he's toast.
Way too much talent in the field these days.

Yep, it will not be easy for him but he will always get to play in the Masters.

Tiger shot a 77 in yesterday's 1st round in Dubai, then withdrew before today's 2nd round due to back spasms that started last night. Not encouraging.

At least he is saving money at night, not like before

So, for only playing one day, any idea how much his appearance fee was cut?

Ya thinck Tiger's absence from golf and his questionable ability to return to where he once was had anything to do with Nike bailing on golf?

When buying a new name brand driver, more than 50% of what you are paying for is the advertisement they used to get you to buy the club.

T2D great question it's the feel of the clubs, that' matters. To me yes to some extent when you change equipment . Saw that with Rory. But I have played with ping blades and switched to mizuno, did see a change but not for long...but of course I am a 10 handicap. lol on red stone and a + 4 at fish creek. I used to practice during lunch and after work. Consistently.

It will take time since he has lost his mental toughness to identify risks and rewards mind set. Since he was used to take risks and got rewarded in the past.

Is he still playing out his fantasy of being a Navy Seal???

If it is possible for him to totally refocus on golf, he stands a chance of winning again. If his head is still filled with other crap, he is done.

Hope he invested his money well..............

.
Hardest injury to return from is a back. He still has physical problems, technical problems with his swing and loss of confidence off the tee. He is probably done as a contendor
