Where is your "cancellation policy" listed hun? I didn't see it in your showcase here. If you are on p411 and have it listed there and these clients are members of p411 and they didn't meet your dead line of advance notice from your cancellation policy, you can report them to p411 and they will help you collect cancellation fee funds for you. Just FYI.

"when people show you who they are believe them" if they already showed you that they're not respectful or considerate of your time, why give them the chance to continue wasting your time? Good advice. Any providers use like 20 buck deposit on pay-pal with a formal cancellation policy? Would weed out the true time wasters.

In my line of work, I get paid ahead of time and get paid the full amount for last minute cancellations. But...I'm a member of the BBB in good standing. Not sure if that approach is possible for a hooktard. ha ha. (Unless she's a LMT.) But a small deposit with a time-sensitive cancellation policy seems reasonable. Any providers ever try this, and did it work ok?

I'm not condoning what they're doing (book then research is a pretty idiotic approach) nor am I condemning your marketing approach (you do what you want); just suggesting a reason why you have the high number of NCNS.

You should also listen to BW and DM that the way you're planning to address this is counter-productive. There may be (probably are) providers who will steer you wrong, intentionally giving you bad advice to knock your business but I don't think these two are in that category. You may be better of handling this in the providers' forum.

How is it black mail... You would write a bad review if you had a bad experience.. Its a known fact providers report clients on a wide variety of things. I just made it public.. Booking an appt then confirming then nothing is a complete disregard to the provider. And to have provider being ill towards one another for no reason is immature.
