FWIW, I buy refurb stuff frequently and don't have problems with any of it.
I might be completely wrong, but I figure they've been thru better QC than new items since they had a problem and were run thru the repair process. No facts to back that up, and as always, I could be completely full of shit..

Go to Best Buy's High End Rooms and talk to one of their consultants about which of the rooms is scheduled to be upgraded next..... BB deeply discounts their floor models and turns over the rooms, at times, over just a few months....
