You could try second hand stores. Sometimes they have some for cheap. Also you could start off with a basinet for now ... Those are much cheaper. My baby has a whole room that she hasn't even slept in yet. In my experience they don't need an actual crib for a little while after they are born simply because you want to be close to them.

Try Goodwill. I've seen brand new (still in the box, unopened) cribs which they receive as overstock from stores like Target. It's a tax write-off for Target so they give them away, and then Goodwill sells them at about ~1/3 of the retail price.

I did get a really nice bassinet from a baby sec- hand store and I did find a crib on craigs list but it was already taken so a family member is now getting me the crib- stuff goes fast on there, and I did get a rocking chair I am gonna need that- thanks Jezz those are good places to look, thanks bibi for looking for me
