asking for less

If the OP meant "OBO"...then there is no way I'd accept any offer at all. The price is the price. However, if her post was correct in using the word "barter", then I see no problem with it at all personally. I think if a provider initiates a barter agreement, and the gentleman can provide what the provider is looking for, then have at it! Everyone needs something...why not exchange? I've heard of a number of providers offering their services in a bater exchange situation for a product or service they're looking for. Sounds good to me!

I have bartered a few times. If the lady is fine with it so am I.
In the past I did lots of barters and they always worked out GREAT for both parties involved. I haven't run across the opportunity to do so since I have been back but I think it is always a great option to have.

Personally, I would never barter but I see no problem with it. After all, both parties agreeing to a transaction is the essence of hobbying. On the other hand, I believe haggling has no place in the hobby. If you want a 10% discount, then you ought to get 90% of a session (stop in view of the finish line). Haggling is equally as bad form as upselling.

Ah crap, I put no by accident. I barter myself since one provider asked for something specific

I'm going with maybe. To me it depends if there is a rapport with both parties. I think I'd be fairly inclined if its someone I would regularly see or have a good friendship with. I'd be more hesitant bartering with someone I've never met or was referred to.
Hmmmmm. Maybe, but it would only be if it was for something super cool, with receipt, and would still have to be worth the amount of the session

Hi,

I found when I bartered for used items such as electrical items....I got shafted...but I still haven't given up my interest in bartering.

And on that note, I would be interested in bartering for furniture items (needed living set, dining room set, king size bed, mirrors and articifal plants) or even electrical items that are still in the box...

If you in the furniture business, send me a pm, please!

Sincerely,
Wet
@budman....Just curious. If you ask him how much he could spend and he told you $XX where was the disrespect?

the response and the disrespect was.. "because you are a bbw I can do..." ( the amount was VERY low. ) like a bbw should get less because she is a bbw????
but anyways...

licks and kisses
