Longer you are truly a stranger to the truth. Dan Rather was advised that the documents were likely fake but he reported it anyway.No, not 'likely fake'. If that's what you believe he was advised, then quote the person that advised him. He was warned but he had his story the facts be damned. His producer was fired as well.The documents were photocopies of original documents that may or may not have been forgeries. Their content is likely true (as verified by Marian Carr Knox). To this day the documents have never been proven to be forgeries or authenticated, nor has their alleged forger discovered. The biggest effect is that CBS News was discredited and a bunch of people were fired. The scandal bears the name 'Rathergate'. Yet, the substance of Bush's TANG records is forgotten.

So tell us, who is the guy who PROBABLY created the fake documents. It won't be an imposition to ask for your proof. Burkett or Stone. Choose your conspiracy.

Sadly, 5-6 years ago I really enjoyed his radio show. I moved out to the Midwest and couldn't find it (wasn't looking too hard either) on a local station and kind of forgot about him.
